Jace Sternberger suspended: I made a horrible decision and accept the consequences

the NFL suspended Tight packers Jace sternberger for the first two games of the 2021 season for violating the league’s drug addiction policy.

Sternberger issued a statement taking responsibility for a “horrific decision” to consume alcohol while taking antidepressants.

“In February 2020, I made a horrible decisionSternberger wrote on Twitter. “While taking antidepressants, I decided to drink, which caused me to fall asleep while driving. My coaches and teammates were the first to know. I want to apologize to the Green Bay Packers organization and everyone who has supported me on this trip. It is never okay to drink and drive. Over the past 16 months, I have been in therapy and have continuously worked to become a better person. I will never ignore my mistakes. I have recognized my bad decision and accept the consequences.

He will miss regular season games in New Orleans and against Detroit.
