The Professional Fighters League (PFL) continues its 2021 season tonight (Thursday, June 10, 2021) with the latest additions to its Lightweight and Featherweight tournaments, as well as a big name debut in the featured attraction. will provide LIVE coverage of the PFL 4 main card below, which starts at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The co-feature initially saw Anthony Pettis looking to bounce back from his loss to Clay Collard to Alex Martinez, but illness forced “Showtime” to be released yesterday (details), leaving Martinez to face two-time champion Natan Schulte.

The main card will also see Bubba Jenkins looking to keep the momentum going against UFC veteran Bobby Moffett and Brendan Loughnane taking on Tyler Diamond, while the sub-card features people like Clay Collard, Lance Palmer and Marcin Held, among others. .

Round one: Jenkins comes out throwing and looks for an early takedown, dragging Moffett to the back and landing his knees to the buttocks. Moffett tries to force his way against the fence a minute later. Jenkins brings it down completely. Two minutes later. Jenkins knee up and he pulls again, disengaging when Moffett tries a ninja choke. Trade is kicking the center. Only two more minutes.

Jenkins 3-2 kick. Moffett hits the landing leg and they chew a bit. He shoots, denied. More than a minute. Jenkins looking for straight lines to the left. Body kick connects, Moffett tries to respond with a head butt. Move straight right by Jenkins, dodge a hook kick and attempt a switch kick. 10-9 Jenkins.

145 lbs: Brendan Loughnane vs. Tyler Diamond

Round 1: Both kick off early. The diamond breathes on an overhand right. He’s the most aggressive so far but hasn’t landed yet. One minute. Both right hands land in the center. Diamond kick. Loughnane’s low blow to the right hand. Another exchange of right hands. The leg kick lands for Loughnane two minutes later. Diamond with a left hook at the bottom, misses the wide one with a knockdown. Loughnane tries to get away, shoots a 1-2. Head kick to the left hand to kick the calf. Only two more minutes.

Another calf kick knocks Diamond down. Diamond’s combination is insufficient. Loughnane’s leg kick. Diamond shoots from long distance, struggling to complete the one leg and Loughnane pulls apart with 45 seconds left. Loughnane’s leg was kicked heavily. Short range combo. Diamond catches a kick and leads him towards the fence, his right hand sneaky. 10-9 Loughnan.

Round two: Loughnane is looking for an early header. Diamond really struggles with distance and has failed with his punches. Loughnane calf kick, avoid a combo. Headbutt attempt. One minute later. Loughnane pulls, rushes and gets up after sprawling. He triples his right hand, starting with the uppercut, and crushes Diamond. Heavy follow-up shots on the ground. Diamond tries to fight, continues to eat massive punches. He somehow manages to survive and get back on his feet. He stumbles throwing a left hand and gets buckled with a calf kick. Loughnane pounding him to the ground. Diamond survives again and manages to kick Loughnane out so that there is one minute left to play.

Loughnane knocks him down against the fence and starts trying to beat him again. Brief lull. More than a minute. Now heavy right hands from Loughnane in the dying seconds. 10-8 Loughnan.

Round three: Loughnane hits an early withdrawal, can’t keep him there. The hard left hook connects. Diamond still walking after him, enters an uppercut and a massive right hook. A knee and more punches mark another knockdown. Loughnane overflows on a right hand and is found on the bottom half-guard. Back in full guard. Chipped diamond with short punches. Loughnane frees his legs and stands up two minutes later. Loughnane against a withdrawal with a closing foreclosure and is cautioned for it. Diamond continues to advance, enters another right hand. Brutal low blow and 1-2 from Loughnane. Diamond catches a kick for an out against the fence and goes half-guard. Only two more minutes.

Nice knee to Diamond’s body as he grinds from the top. Loughnane gets back on his feet with one minute to go. Diamond shoots, refuses, lands a meter to the right. He dives straight into one knee and manages to tank him for an attempt to dismantle. Another knee and more punches. No more knees to the bell. 10-9 Loughnan.

Final result: Loughnane beat. Diamond by majority decision
