If you watched the The Astros lost 12-8 on TV Thursday night at Fenway Park, you might not have realized that a wild sixth inning that featured the Red Sox batting, two fallen flying balls and a crowd of steps, also featured a shirtless fan rushing out onto the pitch.

As usual, the fan wasn’t shown on the show, but he was there and he actually got dangerously close to Astros pitcher Enoli Paredes and wide receiver Martin Maldonado.

The fan’s intention seemed to be more of a thrill ride instead of causing actual damage. He jumped up from the right seats and sprinted towards home plate while waving his shirt over his head. He made all the way between the pitcher’s mound and the house before being tackled by security at Fenway Park as Paredes and Maldonado walked away from the action.
