Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Secretary-General of the Lebanese “Hezbollah” group, Hassan Nasrallah, received, on Tuesday, the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian “Hamas” movement, Ismail Haniyeh, according to the “Al-Manar” channel affiliated with Hezbollah.
Al-Manar stated that Nasrallah and Haniyeh’s meeting “reviewed in detail the battle of the sword of Jerusalem and the empowerment of the resistance in Palestine in order to reach the decisive and final victory,” adding that the meeting “confirmed the depth of the existing relationship between Hezbollah and Hamas and its primary position in this axis and the decisive battle.” .
The announcement of Nasrallah and Haniyeh’s meeting coincided with the visit of Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid to the UAE, where he opened an embassy for his country in Abu Dhabi, which was condemned by Hamas in a statement.

A Hamas spokesman said, “The opening of an embassy for the Zionist entity in Abu Dhabi reflects the insistence of the UAE on the national sin it committed by signing the normalization agreement,” as he put it.
The Hamas spokesman added, “The opening of the embassy coincided with the demolition process in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem, confirming what we always warn of that the normalization agreements will encourage the occupation to escalate its aggression against our people and their sanctities.”
