Susie Podgiastuti’s story about her employees’ abuse of ivermectin

TEMPO.COAnd the Jakarta – Former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Susi Podjiastuti, spoke about the drug ivermectin. He also explained that the drug had been recommended by a doctor to treat eight of his employees who had tested positive for Covid-19.

Susie Podgiastuti said the eight employees must self-isolate. “Amidst the confusion, I finally had to contact SOE Minister Eric Thohir to get some research and articles that have appeared in various media outlets regarding ivermectin,” he said.

On the advice of a doctor, ivermectin is given in combination with other medicines such as paracetamol and multivitamins. “I tried to combine it according to the doctor’s recommendation in Pangandran for self-isolation using paracetamol, ivermectin and several multivitamins,” Susi Pudjiastuti said in an official statement received in Jakarta, Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

After a week of taking ivermectin, employee Susi Pudjiastuti finally tested negative for Covid-19. “Thank God, on the seventh day, all my workers were negative,” he said.

Susi Pudjiastuti also supports and encourages scientists, doctors and health institutions/institutions in Indonesia to immediately conduct their research to determine what can be used to treat Covid-19.

The Food and Drug Administration (BPOM) has agreed to carry out clinical trials to determine the efficacy and safety of using ivermectin to treat COVID-19 patients in Indonesia. Clinical trials of ivermectin were conducted in eight hospitals.
