A health expert says the delayed implementation of the Green Pass has cost many lives

Health Ministry Chief of Public Health Dr. Sharon Alroy Press said Thursday that the Green Corridor was commissioned too late against expert opinion and came at the cost of many Israeli lives.

A Green Pass is a document that grants access to public places to those who have been vaccinated against COVID-19, have recovered from it, or have recently tested negative.

She made the comments at a Knesset Committee on the Rights of the Child debate regarding Pfizer Inc’s announcement last week that it had provided preliminary trial data for its COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11 and that it would file a formal application with US regulators for emergency use in the coming weeks.
