The Broncos lost wide receiver KJ Hamler for the season.
Humler went down during the first half of Sunday’s loss to the Jets with what has now been diagnosed as a ruptured ACL, according to multiple reports.
Humler, a 2020 second-round pick, has started two of the Broncos’ three games this season and has picked up five assists for 74 yards.
With Jerry Judy also out for at least a few more weeks, the Broncos is slim at the wide receiver. So far, Teddy Bridgewater has been able to play well with a depleted receiving team, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Denver bring another future as he tries to keep his attack going after a solid start.
