Declan Rice told to move to Man City over Manchester United and other transfer rumours

Declan Rice has been told to turn down Manchester United and join Manchester City by a former United player.

Brazilian midfielder Kleberson believes the West Ham and England star would do better to move to the Manchester blue half if he eventually leaves the Hammers.

Rice’s stock has continued to climb after a very impressive 2020 European Championships at the heart of the Three Lions midfield.

He picks up where he left off in domestic competition and excelled on the European podium in the UEFA Europa League.

With increased speculation about his next club, Kleberson is weighing in, saying his style of play would be a better fit for City under Pep Guardiola.

“It would be good to see Declan Rice play for Manchester City as they base their game on holding the ball for long periods of time, which is something Declan Rice likes to do,” Kleberson told Paddy Power.

“The style of play Pep Guardiola creates would be perfect for him and the way Pep treats his players is something Rice would benefit greatly from.”

Elsewhere, Mundo Deportivo reports via Sport Witness that Raheem Sterling has asked the club to enter into negotiations with Barcelona so that he can leave.

Sterling saw his playing time dwindle this season as speculation over the summer that he would be used as a bargaining chip to be sent to Tottenham Hotspur while Harry Kane would go the other way.

There were also reports that Arsenal were interested, as were Newcastle United following their Saudi Arabia-backed takeover.

But Spanish media claims Sterling wants to join Barcelona.

Guardiola responded to the rumors following Sterling’s goal against Everton on Sunday, saying: “Mine and Raheem focus on the games, I’m not going to answer questions about what’s going to happen in the future because I don’t know what’s going to happen happen. happen.”

But it looks like it’s too little too late as Sterling has made up its mind, according to the report.
