Events for kids, teens, adults in the library

The Monroe County Public Library offers local residents the opportunity to read, learn, connect, and create. The downtown library is located at 303 E. Kirkwood Ave. and the Ellettsville facility is located at 600 W. Temperance St. All events are free. Events are financed by the Friends of the Library Foundation.

Day for all ages at the Ellettsville Teen Space

Curious about the Ellettsville Teen Space, but not a teenager? Customers of all ages are invited to check it out every fourth Saturday of the month – there’s a DIY design studio, video games, virtual reality and more! It’s Saturday 12pm-6pm at the Ellettsville Branch Library.

Yoga for adults

Find out why yoga is such a powerful tool to keep your body, mind and spirit healthy! In this class for all levels, beginners safely learn the basics, while more experienced students take their practice to a deeper level. This event is suitable for people of all ages and most physical abilities. For 16 years and older. It’s Saturday noon-1:00 pm in Meeting Room B of the Ellettsville Branch Library.
