Within days of a Dalit family being fined 25,000 rupees after a three-year-old boy entered a temple in the Kopal district, a 24-year-old Dalit was fined 11,000 rupees for entering a temple building in the same district. The incident only came to light on Saturday when local police visited the village. According to police sources, a young man entered Mahalakshmi Temple in Nagankal village under the leadership of Karataji Taluk on September 16 around 9 am.
