Former Goa coach Luizinho Valero has resigned from Kong to join TMC

Valero said he suffered in utter silence in Congress.

“I resigned from my position as an MLA to fulfill my dream of consolidating, strengthening and uniting the family of Congress at the state and national levels. Congress does not belong to anyone. It is a movement started by the Father of the Nation,” Valero said. Quoting Al-Ani, after submitting his resignation.

He added, “Today, the Congress family is divided, there is a Congress that belongs to Mamata, YSR, Shraddhawar and Indira Gandhi. If one family is divided, it becomes weak.”

Goa is due to vote next year, along with Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab, among other states.

Former MGP MLA Lavoo Mamledar Joins TMC

Lavu Mamaldar, Maharashtrawadi Jomantak MLA party from Goa, has announced to join TMC on Tuesday, 28th September, it was announced on Monday.

Trinamool . Congressional sources said The Quint That Mamlidhar and Valero would likely be taken to Kolkata and inducted into the party in the capital.

According to sources, Valero will head to Kolkata on Tuesday, before his induction date.

Fifteen people from Goa, including politicians and members of civil society, are expected to travel to Kolkata on Tuesday, 28 September. Yatish Naik, former General Secretary of Goa Congress, Mario Pinto, former Secretary of Goa Congress, and Vijay Pai, former Secretary General of Goa Congress, are among those who will travel to Calcutta. All three politicians are close to Valero and have resigned from Congress.
