Start the most wonderful time of the year with Christmas on the Drive in Grandview Park on Sunday, November 28!
There’s nothing like Christmas in the city. And this year we can once again celebrate the joy of the season with open air festivals that bring together everything we love about the holidays!
On Sunday, November 28, the Commercial Drive Business Society will host the annual Christmas on The Drive in Grandview Park from 2-5pm for an afternoon of fun, festive activities and entertainment.
Take a horse-drawn carriage ride along Commercial Drive, or gather your family and friends to snap a free photo with Santa. In the Kids Zone, little ones are entertained by a balloon-turning clown, a caricature artist and a craft room.
On the main stage there is live music and entertainment including the local children’s group Band of Chickens at 2pm and a live band.
Make sure to stay around 5pm for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony – the real official start to the holiday and shopping season on The Drive – and keep an eye out for some of your favorite Christmas characters roaming the streets!
Make it a whole day for the family and book a table at one of the many restaurants on The Drive, or spend the day shopping while filling your list for those naughty and nice people!
