Likud rejects Bennett’s speech at the United Nations, describing it as ‘frivolous’

Likud on Monday denounced Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s speech to the United Nations General Assembly as “empty platitudes” while comparing the leader to his predecessor, Benjamin Netanyahu.

“Netanyahu’s speeches at the United Nations shocked the world and pushed Israel’s interests to the forefront,” the statement said.

“Unlike him, Bennett gave a blank speech in front of an empty hall and squandered empty cliches instead of taking advantage of an important international podium.”
