Magizhini, the first Tamil LGBTQ song, goes viral. So proud, says the internet

The first Tamil LGBTQ song and video featuring two women in love has gone viral online. The song is called Magizhini- It’s Not My Fault and it’s trending on social media. Netizens have welcomed it with open arms and applaud the decision to release the song. Magizhini means happiness or sweet joy in Tamil. The video stars Gouri G Kishan and Anagha and it was directed by VG Balasubramanian. It was released on November 22 and has since been viewed more than 23 lakh times.

The video shows the budding relationship between two dancers and the problems they faced due to their sexual orientation. Saregama South wrote on Twitter: “Saregama is proud to present #Magizhini, the very first LGBT song in Tamil music ft. @Gourayy & @AnaghaOfficial. The song is also on the 5e trending spot on YouTube.
