The tastiest NFL game wasn’t the first on Thanksgiving Day 2021, but while the level of play in Bears-Lions left a lot to be desired, it did give us a game that wasn’t decided until the final kick. And Raiders-Cowboys went one step further and needed overtime before deciding on the final kick as well. As for Bills-Saints… two close games out of three isn’t bad.

We grabbed our red pens and rated every Thanksgiving Day appearance, starting with the Bears and Lions, two of the worst teams in football — and they looked like this. We couldn’t even average the winner, but the Raiders showed a lot of spark by upsetting the Cowboys in a game where they were 7.5 point underdogs, according to Caesars Sportsbook.

All six teams heading into Thanksgiving lost in week 11, so plenty of “good” performances were at stake during this holiday.

Here are our report cards from all three Thanksgiving games.
