‘Nobody Has It’: ‘The View’ Chaos Caused By False Positive COVID-19 Test Results, Hosts Say

NEW YORK – It now appears that the COVID-inspired chaos on Friday at ‘The View’ was in fact due to false positive test results.

On Monday, presenter Joy Behar said that she and co-hosts Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines received numerous tests for COVID-19 and that Friday’s results were found to be “false positives.”

“I am delighted to report that Sunny and Ana’s results on Friday were found to be false positives,” she said. “Nobody has it. It was kind of a mistake.”

Navarro and Hostin were asked to leave the presenter’s desk in the middle of the live show on Friday, with the remaining presenters later explaining that they had both tested positive.

Panelists were within minutes of introducing the show to Vice President Kamala Harris for an in-person interview at her New York City studio.

Harris, who had planned to join the table, was remotely interviewed from another room inside the ABC building about 10 minutes before the show ended. “The View” has invited her to return.

On Monday, Behar thanked Harris for the interview under “extortionate circumstances.”

“We want to thank Vice President Harris and her amazing team for working with us to make sure everyone was safe,” he said.

Harris did not interact with Hostin or Navarro prior to the show, according to a White House official. Both hosts are fully vaccinated, colleagues said.
