Taco lovers will unite again at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou on October 16th for Houston Press Tacolandia.

General admission ($35) and VIP tickets ($75) are now on sale for an outdoor event sponsored by Mission Foods.

Tacolandia takes place 4-7 p.m. (opens an hour earlier for VIP ticket holders) and includes unlimited taco samples. Includes cash bars with beer, wine and cocktails as well as prizes for the best tacos in various categories. VIP ticket holders also get three drink tickets and access to the VIP restrooms.

A live mariachi band will be on site, while Mission Tortilla Zone gives you the chance to get free tortilla chips and tortillas to take home. The Jarritos Refresh Station will distribute samples of Mexico’s first national soft drink brand. Guess the correct number of bento beans in the jar and win up to $200 in gift cards.

All guests must be 21 years of age or older, with valid Rain or Shine ID. A portion of the proceeds will benefit children’s meals.
