Three people have died after a car crashed into a sheltered apartment complex in Notting Hill.
Firefighters have rescued nine people in the wake of the Great Western Road horror incident at 4.50 a.m. Tuesday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and found the car on fire.
Firefighters put out the fire, but three people died at the scene.
The Metropolitan Police said no other injuries were believed to be involved, and at this point no other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing to witnesses and those with dash cam footage to come forward after the crash.
A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters have been called to report a car crash into a sheltered apartment complex.
The car was on fire when its crews arrived. Crews dealt with the fire and led nine people to safety from the building via an interior staircase.”
